It's recommend that you could contact the recipient and add yourself as a safe sender. If the external email address does not receive all emails from you, then it is possible that the external email address may have blocked you. If the latter is the case, can the external email address receive other emails sent by you (non-regular forwarded emails)? Please confirm with the recipient that you have received the email or check the inbox of the external email address and confirm if the forwarded email is received. If it's the former, based on my tests I found that messages forwarded through the rule really don't show up in the sent folder. If not, how do you find the email forwarding doesn't work? Is it because you don't see the forwarded email in the sent folder or because the external email address you set didn't receive the forwarded email? Have you received any NDR email which reminders you that the email is not sent? The move works but the email forward does not so I know that the rule is being activated correctly.
